I'd be fine with him replacing Delmon. On a 1/4 kind of deal maybe. No way anything more than that. At his age he could go from half-pumpkin (-18 defense!) to a full pumpkin overnight.

Im not disagreeing. But he had 52 extra base hits and was worth a WAR of 9 on offense. He will get more than a 1/4m on that alone. He will atleast get a 1/10m.

I'm not sure what that means. He was about 6 runs better than average with the bat, 2 more on the bases. If he'd been a full-time DH he would have been a one or one-and-a-half win player.
